In short: If you want a nice change from a big half marathon, try a small but pancake-flat 15 miler...
In full: 2006 was practically windless - it would be SO different on a blustery day - just like any other race in the Fens...

Organisers and sponsors do a great job though - well done to all...

In short: lightning fast and enough wind to make you work. excellent organisation well done march!
In full: A super race well organised by march. Scenery a bit dull but as its flat for about 40 miles in all directions from start not much the organisers can do to change this. Few spectators due to nature of course but enthusiastic support from copius amounts of marshalls. Free T-shirt and bacon butties and tea and coffee and a PB course make this excellent value at just £7. I'll be back.

In short: fast, flat, featureless, fenland friendly, free tee and bacon sandwich.
In full: We were very lucky with the weather today,as it could prove a hard course on a windy day as it is very exposed, for a lot of the courses distance, nicely organised, and well marshalled, enjoyed running with the relay competitors as well as the 15 milers. nice touch with the free tee/coffee and bacon sandwiches, t-shirt maybe not as good as other races and missed out on the free pen by the time i got in, but overall a nice run out and chat with others using this as part of their FLM build up,
un-usual setting at a prison, but that made it a little more intriging when i turned up.
overall a pleasing sunday run, well done to march ac and hope to see you in the future.

In short: Very flat and fast. Fenland scenery not too impressive but better than a smoky city! Free Bacon sandwiches!
In full: A very well organised and friendly race. Myself and 2 friends entered this as we needed a 20 mile run as part of FLM training. The organisers were really helpful and let us run 'the loop' twice in order to get the extra miles in. We were of course plum last, but that wasn't the point of the run! They really went out of their way to help us and some marshalls even kept driving to find us to see if we were OK when everyone else had finished. Free bacon butties and tea at the end. Well done and thanks!!!

In short: Flat course and a small field
In full: Not the most thrilling countryside - the fens - but flat and fast.

Free bacon butty and tea very welcome afterwards at the prison officers club.
