In short: I love Wendover Woods, and I loved this race.
In full: I do most of my training up Wendover Woods. And there are some really really tough hills up there. And this course took us down then up two of the toughest hills in the woods. Not just once but 13 times. 26 if you did the full marathon.

This was the first running of the event, so only a small entry turned up, but this killer event will grow in size. I ran with a friend, who won the ladies 1/2. and got a nice trophy for it. We had a nice chat with Rory the organiser after we had finished. Great bloke.
Thanks very much to Rory and everyone involved in the race, for making this a special morning. I will be back.
Nice long sleaved t shirt too.

In short: As hard as I feared but a great day ,scenery, runners and weather outstanding
In full: I saw the event in the mag and thought what a silly thing to do 1 mile laps for a marathon. Next thing I know I have applied for the half. It was a surprise how 13 laps did not become a bore. Each lap had its own challenge with the steep decent ensuring concentration stayed essential. The last long slow climb to the end of the circuit became harded and harder. I hope it is on again and I will drag more of my club out to test their true grit. Marathon next time well?? It would help my Davos marathon training or kill me. I did not expect to say it but I can recommend it Thanks MOB.

In short: Best race ever
In full: I did the half marathon and this really was my favourite race of the year. The organizers were absolutely brilliant, the course was SOOOOO HARD, I nearly died but it really was excellent. Even the T-Shirt was great. I really can't fault it in anyway. Thank you to all the organizers and marshals!!!

In short: Excellent and tough!
In full: Took part in the full. Managed 4hrs 50ish but will have to wait for the results. I thought the organisation was very good and that the event plenty of support. It was my first MOB event. The course was not as muddy as it could of been. Good! The rain kept off and it turned out to be a nice day even through there was a bit of wind chill.
That hill was very painfull after a few laps. Ended up walking up it like most towards the end. Anice cafe, lovely place to run, very difficult course. Well done team. Nice shirt too!

In short: Did the 10k option. V tough course but beautiful setting. Well organised and friendly. Only one working ladies toilet but only a handful of ladies running, so not a problem. Worth the early morning drive from London.
