In short: just about recovered - even after all the training !!
In full: to anyone who hasn't done this race - don't expext any flat level bits cos there arent any !! (apart from the shingle beach). Wasn't as muddy as i'd expected mainly down to the weather. Excellent organsation, loads of marshalls, drink stops , jelly babies and live music plus all those off-beat messages around the course. will try and get others to do it next year !

In short: beach hills mud and even some tarmac but not much.
In full: A terrific event which seems to be supported by the whole town (and region).
Constant challenging hills or shingle beach mean that stamina is essential

In short: Hard but terrific
In full: Second time and its addictive. Shingle beaches, bogs, streams, steps plus hills, hills and more hills. Then there was the sun, rain, hail and mud but at least not much wind. Hardest race I think most people will ever do. Makes a road mara seem easy but I will be back !!

In short: Even the Cub run has bite!
In full: My first time and I hope it won't be my last. Did the Cub run and have to say it's probably the toughest nine miles I'll ever run but the marshalls were superb! Anyone have an idea of total ascent/descent for us Cubbies, please?
