In short: Very flat but exposed. Definite PB potential but quite boring. Only XL T Shirts available.

In short: Freezing Cold
In full: Second time I've done it and it is definately easier when warm. First time I have run in a woolly hat and gloves but boy am I glad I did. Still well organised and worthwhile. I will be back.

In short: Good first Race
In full: This was my first race, whilst training for the London Marathon. I thoroughly enjoyed it. For a Motor Racing fan it was a brilliant experience.

In short: Fairly flat and fast - good first Half Marathon!
In full: Did this for the first time (first half marathon) last year (05) and had a good time - even if I didn't get the time I wanted!
Went back this year with unfinished business and took 25 minutes off last years time!!

In short: Really well organised, but lack of scenery put me to sleep
In full: I've no reason to complain - the whole day was made easy by the efficient organisation, the course is reasonably level and easy going despite the wind, and it did the job as part of my training for London. But I'm afraid that the uninspiring surroundings detract from all that. Atmosphere was OK in the grandstand, but once you got away from the main spectator areas, it all felt a bit soulless.

In short: What you'd expect from the organisers of the London Marathon
In full: Well organised, nice medal, good finishers pack, friendly staff and fast course make up for a not so senic and repetitive course. Could teach other event organisers a thing or two.

Extremely recommended

In short: Good big race prep for FLM
In full: Third PB in three attempts, so fast course makes it worth turning up for that alone. Sure its not the most interesting of courses, but its off road, the organisation is faultless and its got championchip and timing every mile.
