In short: I felt like a Grand Prx Racing Driver only wetter
In full: The event was great, my aunt and uncle took me there from Milton Keynes and sat in the stands to watch. Everythign was layed out really well and the pace times were set out accordingly. Nigel Mansell pressed the start gun and we were off.... it rained, hailed, sun glared, wind and calm. I had never raced in so many different weather conditions before. The track covers a large area so probably in 4 postcodes all the way round. It looped one way round then the other and also cameinside for part of a lap. I managed to keep myself up with the runners I started with and that helped with the timing.

Overall I managed 568th place with time of 1:36:35. Very pleased I was.

In short: PB-tastic, but miserable day!
In full: I did a great time (stuck to the 9-min miler from RW and then kicked off at 11 miles to do a PB of 1:57), but what a truly hideous day for weather! Never thought I would run in hailstones and picked up a knee injury in the cold. But good course - nice and flat - and worth running.

In short: Only spoilt by the weather!!
In full: This is my 3rd year running this race - just love the course.
The weather was horendous this year - snow, hail, rain and gale force winds!!
Set a new PB this year despite the weather.

In short: Apart from the weather?
In full: I think everyone ahead of me has said all I need to say already - weather - wow, all seasons in a day, and the wind!! Like running through treacle. However, still managed a good time (not a PB). I had to que a bit for the goody bag as I think I hit it at the wrong time, but that was soon rectified by other marshals/ volunteers quickly coming to help, scenery is dull, although at the same time great to run on the race track, but overall a good race.

In short: Great race and course, massive PB potential if not windy! I've done this the last 3 years and enjoyed everyone.
