In short: best race of the year
In full: Did this race last year and it has been the only race where I have asked the organisers when entry would be open. The reputation of the race isn't just the scenery, its the tea and cakes (should be mandatory after every race), organisation, friendliness, the good cause, the list goes on... It was a fantastic day and with the 'flight ban - Iceland ash' the skies were a clear blue without a vapour trail in sight. Every now and then you find a race that puts you back in love with running, well this one certainly does the trick.

In short: The perfect antidote to the harsh winter.
In full: Only six weeks ago the top of the Derwent valley still had a lot of snow. Today in the hot spring sunshine, it was at its glourious best. last years race was good today it was just perfect. A big thank you to all who did so much to make it special.

In short: Definitely one to do again next year. At the top of my list of great events.
In full: This was my first Dambuster. I loved it. The organisation and pre race info was great. The route was slightly challenging but interesting. Everyone was so friendly. The finish was excellent, not only tea and home made cakes available but a personal certificate printed off and ready to take home. Did a good time too, so that was pleasing. Count me in for next year. Thank you for a fabulous morning out, it makes all the training worthwhile.
