In short: Great organisation, watch out for 22 mile point
In full: The weather was typically Snowdonia. Rain, wind and no vis. I will just have to come back.

In short: Was that a group of nuns cheering us on somewhere in the second half or was I becoming delirious by then? My second attempt at this race and I still haven't mastered that last hill. A huge thank you to all the organisers and especially those marshall

A huge thank you to all the organisers and especially those marshalls and drink station helpers out on the course. Their good humour despite the conditions was fantastic.

In short: Hard work but very rewarding
In full: Thoroughly enjoyed this, although found it tough going. My one previous marathon (Edinburgh) was a doddle by comparison. Coped with Llanberis pass ok but my calves gave up the ghost on the long uphill bit out of Bedgelert and had to walk for a bit, and the some more up the big hill at 22 miles. Great atomsphere scenery and organisation. Hopefully will be back next year.

In short: Those hills didn't seem so big in the car!
In full: This one has always been on my "must do" list, and its now been ticked off that list. Not as good an atmosphere as i expected, and large parts of the course very sparse, but probably down to the weather.
Gutted that i fell and smashed my head on a rock on the downhill section, but many thanks to the runner and marshall who checked me out - no lasting damage, but may have knocked some sense into me!
Chip shop in llanberis had the nicest chips i've had in years!

In short: Perfect - I'm still smiling!
In full: This really was superb. A huge, huge thank-you to all involved in the organisation - faultless. The rain pelted down, the wind whistled, the hills hurt but I still couldn't stop smiling - it was just such bloody good fun! What fantastic support too - special thanks to the lovely man at 21 miles who stood in the pouring rain dishing out boiled sweets! Lots of drink stations with choc & Mars Bars too - brilliant!! Can't wait to do it all again.

In short: Superb
In full: Just want to say thanks to all involved in organising the race and a special thanks to all the marshalls and all those that turned out in the rain to lend support. I think I need to add a few more hill reps to my training for next year.
