In short: Fantastic race - will definitely do again!
In full: Brilliant effort by Dave and his team. Everyone was friendly in Mablethorpe and surrounding villages; superb atmosphere, it felt really special. I echo what others have said about start time for marathon (I did the half, but felt really sorry for marathon runners starting off when the day was even hotter). However, this shouldn't detract from what was an excellent debut event. May it be the first of many!

In short: I'll do this one again
In full: For a 1st attempt by the organisers, this event was a MASSIVE success, its difficult to fault except for water station running out of water near start and also the start time could have been an hour or so earlier, that said though next year it could be raining.

the marshalls where excellent, the locals around the route were also excellent even drivers of all types of vehicles had patience and many encouraged from their cars which makes a change

no marathon is easy, this one leaves you thinking weather permitting, you could do better next time, well i WILL be back next year to find out.

to all those on the forum well done everyone see you next year (if not before)for the reunion

In short: Loved it!
In full: Excellent organisation for it's first year- many thanks to Dave and his helpers. I don't feel the need to mention the very few negative points because they were far outweighed by the positives.
The marshals were amazing- their enthusiasm never waned even for us slower ones. The same goes for the residents of Mablethorpe and surrounding areas. Very much appreciated.
I really hope I can do it again next year- my favourite marathon so far.
Cheers Mablethorpe!

In short: Good flat course
In full: Great day of running, no mile markers on the half-marathon course made it difficult to know where you were, but a great atmosphere.
