In short: very nice run, but only a mug!!
In full: for the entry fee i would have liked something more than a mug that doesn't even say whether i ran 8.2 or 16 miles. a good race otherwise as the atmosphere was friendly.

In short: Much improved
In full: Having done the Breakfast Run earlier in the year I am appeased with how the organisers have polished this up.
Chip timing and just two starts has seemingly made the world of difference to the results.
Nice and early and you have the rest of the day ahead afterwards, lovely local route, fast course, well marshalled and organised and I enjoyed it.
Can't say I didn't feel a little let down with just a mug and a lucozade at the finish but I knew what to expect so can't complain.
Nice run for my training schedule.

In short: Well organised, interesting route with PB potential
In full: I really enjoyed the 16 mile race. There were plenty of water stations and the route was easy to follow. The start and finish were well organised.
I will do this one again, the early start meant traffic wasn't a problem.
Only one slight problem was where the route was following the pavement shared with cyclists and I was nearly taken out by one next to a water station!
Also as it is such a fast race, perhaps a half marathon marker would be nice, I know i smashed my half time but I don't know by how much!

In short: Great, well organised run. Flat route and fast.
In full: I never been to Kingston before but knew the race was in High St somewhere so I got dropped off outside Bentalls by 7am. I was looking for signs about the race but there was nothing. I got very nervous but luckily bumped into a friendly marshall who showed me the way. Make sure you know where you're going! Once I got there, it all went smoothly. I didn't have to queue for toilet (helps to get there early though), it started on time, marshalls were very encouraging, they controlled the traffic at major road junctions, good water stations with water and lucozade. I liked the mug and goodies at the end. Very well organised. Only thing was no enthusiasm from passer-bys and would prefer if traffic was closed off. Running through Bushey Park was lovely though. I will be back in April and attempt 16miles....
