In short: Great experience and a great first10k pb sub 35. Loved the stadium finish. It certainly encouraged me to do more road races

In short: Not bad mid size city race
In full: A twisty course through the city centre means a slow first 5k but the second 5k is quick along wide roads and embankment. Nice finish in the football stadium. Good that sub 35 runners got their own pen. Parking and organisation seemed fine. Good race for beginners.

In short: Enjoyed it, relatively Flat, proper Town race, Parking & Toliets abound - Start time sectioned, can avoid the many "fun runners"
In full: Good location, race for all levels and can avoid or join in with the "First Time/Run Warm up"! Was get a crowded in the town but overall enjoyed it and did not impact on the time,Stadiumn finnish & 3/4 lap round the pitch was good. Good city centre race

In short: A race that doesn't really deliver its full potential.
In full: Poor organisation, narrow routes, MP3 users, chaos near stadium all put me off doing this again. Nice try though could do a lot better.

A nice technical T-Shirt doesn't really make up for it I'm afraid.

In short: Great race with fantastic support
In full: Really enjoyed this race. Fantastic finish in Pride park with brilliant support...

Only complaint is that if you're going to bother to organise sectioned start areas you need to make sure people stick to them. Other than that great organisation.

In short: My first 10k and loved it!
In full: Didn't know what to expect as this was my first race, but really enjoyed it. A big thanks to all the smiley marshalls who gave us bags of encouragement. Great T shirt....I might look like a proper runner now when I go out training.
Only down side was the idiots who were walking back along the course as us slow newbies tried to run into the stadium and they wouldn't shift!

In short: A good race, no "real" hills although some sharp turns that slow you right down
In full: I ran the Derbyshire 10K at the weekend and enjoyed it alot. A few nice straights where you can get your speed and pacing right up, although there are some nasty hair pin bends where you have to slow right down. No hills really, just a mild but wide hump back bridge. Mostly run through the centre of the city but you do finish the last 3K running by the river then into the Derby City Footbal Stadium.

In short: Excellent race
In full: Ran it last year but not this year as I was supporting Mrs Diablo- it was her first 10K. Gave me a first chance to see a race from a spectator's point of view. This was an excellent course for supporters. Due to the loops of the course, we were able to watch the start, then run round to view at 6km and 7km before running back to the stadium to watch the finish. Excellent race for supporters.
