In short: First ever race. Found it quite enjoyable. Had never run over 8km before, so was a challenge for a beginner and was slightly dissapointed with my time of 61mins - better luck next time!

In short: Very well organised race with a great finnish
In full: They need to sort the start out though. Allowing people to line up buy expected finishing time would be great.

In short: Very enjoyable course, with no hills, though plenty of twists and turns. Definately potential for PBs though. Only one negative- plenty of queueing for car parking though there are more than adequate places.

In short: Good course, good mixture of scenery, and in general nice touches for a reletively small 10km race
In full: Yeah i enjoyed race. Great to finish inside Pride park and race well marshalled throughout; who were friendly and encouraging. Down side only 3 toilets( cubicles) for men not especially good if hit with pre nerves before race.
Lovley touches like massages before and after, bands playing, and ponchos given out from bbc radio before due to the rain!
If more people took part parts of the course would have some problems as sometimes narrow so hopefully numbers will be restricted to under 2000. T-shirt stated as quality however i would question this. However what do you expect for 13quid???Well done

In short: First time I've done a race twice - it wasn't what I remembered.
In full: Lets get this straight this is a really well organised mid to largish 10k. There can be no real gripes which the organisers could really do anything about.

The only minor whinge I had was that in the city centre the course tape could be better set out, a couple of times I found myself on the wrong side of the tape and effectively off course.

That said I didn't remember how hilly the course seemed from last year - going over the raised by pass twice certainly took its toll.

Whilst I'm making up reasons for not getting a pb I must also say the hard paths in the park section were very slippery together with some sharp turns I felt off balance on a few occassions.

That said it is a real cracking finish running round Pride Park, even for a Leicester fan, I will be back next year.
