In short: a tough one for me. Those "undulations" take their toll towards the end.

In short: Friendly, well organised, beautiful scenery
In full: A really friendly race, well organised and run in stunning scenery. It lacks all of the charms of the mass particpation events and therefore is perfect. Better support this year and I will run next year for the 4th time.

In short: The weather was too hot for a great time. Lacked atmosphere I felt
In full: Little pre race atmosphere in the the town, little signage of what was too happen for locals and tourists. Needs more resources and marketing from more sponsors maybe.Organisation was fine (bit sharp on the starting gun I felt). met some nice people but not great for a first time marathoner. Probably better for the more experienced. Loved the area and great weather for the scenery if not for running.

In short: Flat, fast, fun marathon
In full: Lovely, low-key marathon. It was worth running 26.2 miles just to experience the finish at the shinty pitch - well done Lochaber.

In short: Chip timing would ruin it
In full: Perfect marathoning unplugged. Who wants a goody bag full of useless junk anyway? And the 25th anniversary medal just adds to the feeling that the organizers have a true sense of humour; I mean, who'd put on a flat marathon amidst the biggest collection of munros in Scotland? Cheerful young lads and lassies at many of the drinks stations, fab rolling support from the Fetch support crew, glorious weather ... who cares if I had to more or less walk the last 6 miles?
