In short: A really good training run for Marathon preparation. 2 extremely testing hills and a headwind that lasted about 10 miles. Great, friendly marshalling.

In short: Excellent race and very well organized
In full: A very well organized race. I must say I liked the classical music in the toilets!! The only thing I would say is that the facilites were a bit basic. After 20 miles of freezing cold wind it would be nice to go into a warm building and not a cold tent.

In short: very challenging yet enjoyable race !
In full: Thankyou to the support from the enthusiastic marshalls. Time was a bit off what i had hoped, but was not expecting the two cheeky hills & the 10 miles of head wind. plan to be back next year.

In short: Dont Mention the hills! Did i mention the hills?
In full: Superbly run race from the Marshalls etc (not from me) from drinks stations to bag retrival. Hill at 9 miles my lung's burst the hill at 11 miles my head went knumb with the wind and my leg's fell off at the 18 mile hill! LOL , but i will be back next year!

In short: First 8.5 miles, wonderful : the remaining 11.5, hard work
In full: Wouldn't like to do too many runs, with those 2 hills, and 11.5 miles, more or less into wind. Still it was well organised, marshalls were great : helpful & friendly, scenery was a pleasure to view. Achieved the time I wanted, so cant complain.

Personally, I would have preferred a T shirt to the little Medal. (a T shirt can be worn to run in at other races, thus a bit more free advertising).

Anyway, I'll be back next year.

In short: Great marshals and drink station staff
In full: Thank you to all the great race staff, marshals and drink station staff. Without your support and encouragement this would be soul destroying.
My biggest gripe is that, having trudged my way through the strong head wind and steep climbs to complete this tough run, all I got was a cigarette card sized piece of metal. Surley it is not beyond the pale for theorganisers to supply a goody bag with a snack and energy drink for all those brave souls who finish. Every other race I have entered does it!!!
Nevertheless I did it and London is a piece of cake by comparison. See you next year!
p.s. Well done superman!!

In short: sensation race - sensational organisation
In full: Fantastic organisation starting with the courtesy coaches and ending with the bag retrieval.

For a newbie, it was an incredibly tough race, but the friendly, chatty runners and suportive marshals got me through it.

2 tough hills @ 9M & 18M and an annoying headwind meant a huge sense of satisfaction coming down the home straight.

Definitely one for 2007

In short: Great but Tough
In full: Most enjoyable, great country views, hardly any traffic, well marshalled, one of my favourites!
