In short: if the wather is bad it's espeacilly tough - good training for marathon as it is hilly.

In short: Nice 'gentle' ;) 20 miler with a few hills
In full: Nice atmosphere training run for me. Having a lot of tiredness in the legs prior to this. It was nice to do this as a training run for FLM. Big Hill at 9 and 18. Met some 'interesting' characters on the way. Glad to get to the end. Cheap T Shirt at finish what was all that about. Spurs won the cup too nice day.

In short: A classic 20 miler & the weather was good this year!
In full: Overall a really enjoyable day. As many have already said there was a bit of an issue with the toilets at the beginning. Other than that organsation was very good - excellent park & ride service. Marshalls great and water stations really good. It was a bit of a shame to see so many gel wrappers disgarded on the side of the road to blow around the countryside though...

In short: Great race
In full: Well organised with great support from the marshalls. Nice course with a couple of challenging hills. Great to get a t-shirt at the end that fits small people! Glad to see the posh portaloos there as usual!

In short: Good race but what happened to the medal?
In full: The race was very enjoyable with just the right types of challenges for someone preparing for London. Well marshalled and plenty of water stops. The website for the race (on RW) stated that there would be a medal for all finishers - what happened? If there isn't to be a medal it shouldn't be advertised.

In short: Good course, Excellent marshalls, poor facilities at start
In full: My first 20 and a good workout in run up to FLM. Enjoyed the course, great countryside and the 'undulations' I am used to, being reasonably local. 9M was interesting, 18M nothing special. Facilities at the start were very disappointing other than the MD massage tent. If it had been cold/wet, the changing area would have been totally inadequate and it's all very well hiring posh loos, but we needed several of them.
Park & ride worked well.

In short: Stopped me from getting bored over a long distance
In full: Loved the race, and fellow runners. Not beginner friendly as not many beginers would be looking at 20 miles. Great idea to coach the runners in from the car park. More races should do it.
