In short: The venue backed by the weather made this event!
In full: Pitsford was a superb setting for this event and the weather was just perfect. If I also include a very satisfying PB this was personally a truly brilliant event. I do have to agree with others that NRICC did let themselves down on organisation. They are only a charity after all and not a running club but no event should be organised without toilet facilities. No momento and a t-shirt that was a large lady-fit! I felt sorry for those that had to cross the finishing line whilst weaving through traffic exiting by the finish line. I did thoroughly enjoy the race and hope to be back next year, please keep with March, but would expect to see some improvements in the organisation.

In short: Super course, disadvantaged by minimal organization
In full: This is a race with huge potential - great course. Suffered from a confused start, no toilets, limited parking (if it got any larger), no water during race & limited signage that would have made negotiating the cycle, car & walker traffic easier for all parties. With an expensive entry fee, these things should have been doable and still provide decent returns to the charity. Hoping it's sorted for next year as the location and views will definitely have me coming back.

In short: Glorious location and route, dismal organisation.
In full: Lovely scenic route and fabulous weather BUT..... Advertised water stations - none. Toilets shown on map at start - none (that's right, NO toilets, directed to a derelict building to go behind). Advertised as traffic free - wasn't. Advertised memento and T-shirt - no memento, and if you're a man or a larger woman, no T-shirt either. The exit from the car park was along the finish of the route, so anyone anywhere near the back was literally weaving in and out of moving traffic. Basically a very expensive training run.

In short: Great run shame they said there would be water en route and on a warm spring day there was no water until the end of the race.
