In short: Nice flat scenic race -appalling organisation In full: The mess at the finish really spoild the race. Didn't know where the finish line was and because of the queues probably had to finish short of the line Date of review: October 29, 2006
I agree with the general view that the start and finish were rubbish. surely the majority of runners must agree these are the most important elements of any race whatever your standard. Better organization and this would have been a good race. Chip timing must be the answer.
In short: get it right and it could be good, you have run this long enough???? In full: Start & Finish banners are required, it's a big enough race & organisers should know by now. Even for the medical problem at the end, Plan B should have been put into action, move the funnels around the corner, they dont have to be on the finish line..... Date of review: October 13, 2006
In short: Great race, quality field In full: Soa few issues with the start - but not at the front - so one collapsed at the end - seem to suffer from lack of help at the finish. Date of review: October 11, 2006
In short: quality race as previous years In full: not fit on the day and had to take a few stops but unaware of any problem.usual start and although different finish had checked it out and knew where the finish was. Runners have to look after a top venue and to have all roads closed and all 1K splits signed was a delight. Still one of the top 10K races. Date of review: October 11, 2006
