In short: I do this race every year as it's a good feel factor run. As it's flat, it's eassy to improve on each year.

In short: Very good 10k race
In full: This race was pretty well organised, much better than the Southend Half. The only gripes were that they needed a bigger water station for the size of the field, had to go without as I didnt fancy queueing up. Also why were the finisher T shirts so far away from the finish. Shame the electronic timing didnt go ahead because the person was ill.
Overall a good race and would do it again, great course along the sea front.

In short: Good Day out
In full: It was a gloriously sunny day and it was so nice to see that the organisers had learnt the lessons from last years problems. A great run on a flat course with 2600 runners of all capabilities. Well done to all those who organised this event and took part.

In short: Will always love this one
In full: Last years race was my first ever race and as it's now my 10km PB course I'll always love this one. It seems to attract people from those superhuman sub 35 min 10k runners to complete beginners, all of whom show great support for each other. Whatever your ability I definitely recommend this one.

In short: You get to cruise down Southend Mate
In full: Excellent race, good competitive field with loads of support. Well organised and great to get my t-shirt from a Southend runner who had done the race and then helped out. Well done to all involved. And thanks to the very nice lady filling the cups of water, i need it.

WELL DONE SOUTHEND - HOPE TO SEE YOUR RUNNERS AT THE BILLERICAY 10K - PROBABLY THE BEST 10K IN BILLERICAY!!
