In full: A lovely venue, good fan support, flat & traffic free, great to find a UK road marathon in June, shame that won't continue:( lovely medal featuring tower, flamboyant t-shirt, no loos on course, timing not great, official time was at least 10 seconds out by the time you got "tagged"

In short: excellent fun. good first time half marathon
In full: Really enjoyed my first Half race. The heat was a bit of a worry at the beginning but it cooled down. The lower walk section between 7-10miles was mind numbingly boring but the rest had some great views. Well done Blackpool.

In short: Enjoyable race and good organisation but they overlooked one thing: no on-course loos.
In full: Seeing people dart off into hotels and amusement arcades is just daft. Other than that it's in front of the pedestrians and loads of runners. One could always invoke a medieval law and shout "In pain" as you perform in order to try to avoid arrest from one of the many policemen.

In short: A good enjoyable marathon by the sea!
In full: running inI enjoyed this race even if very hot and i looked like a tomato after!! And still do!! Well organised.Enjoyed the run along the sea front ! Dont really like running in straight lines - daft i know but always seems further than it is so i kept looking out to sea instead of in front of me !! I would do this marathon again - easy to get to, friendly, plenty of space - unlike London - and a welcoming finish.

In short: Very Good
In full: Well organised, plenty of water and traffic free. Rather warm on the day, but thats expected when its in June. Good flat course, with a couple of minor hills. The 19 to 23m part of the course seemed endless.
Chip timing worked well, good T-shirt and medal.
Good marathon to do if London is not your thing.
