In short: Great race but would prefer a single lap course In full: Great organisation extended to stopping the heavy rain just before the start. A lovely course but with very few (and very quiet) spectators. Personally I would much prefer a one lap race as I dislike running over the same ground twice. Would be nice to try a city centre half in Norwich as the city is really lovely (might be more spectators too). Date of review: January 24, 2010

In short: A Grand Morning Out!!! In full: When I saw the weather at 9.30 I thought, Oh no, third year in a row of wet icy rain, fortunately the rain stopped the sun came out and there was a double rainbow! The improved weather really improved the event, great atmosphere on the day, liked the new route. If I had to have one gripe there seemed an unecessary queue at the end to hand back your chip/ pick up your goody bag. All in all thought well done CONAC/Larking Gowen! One final thought, are Larking sponsoring this next year? As I understood it they were signed up for 3 years and this was the third year!! Date of review: December 26, 2009

In short: Change in the course is definately an improvement! In full: This was my third time doing this event and I think the slight change in the route is a definite improvement as I hated that hill back into the Showground which has not been replaced by a more gentle incline through Easton College.
Weather this year was much better, rain stopped and the sun came out just before the start so it made for a much more enjoyable run. Good crowd as usual and decent goody bag at the end - nice not to just have a load of leaflets stuffed in a plastic bag. Date of review: December 7, 2009
