In short: Wet, muddy and superb fun!!!
In full: Brilliant fun. Somehow the mud and rivers added to the fun. I was shivering on the walk to the start but soon warmed up. Thanks to the bloke who grabbed my arm and pulled me up a slippery bank as my Asics 2110s wheel-span at took me nowhere! My worst time in my third 10K this year, but understandable with the weather, the gates and stiles, etc - I had such fun that the extra time mattered not one bit.

In short: My first ever race, great atmosphere, poured down all the way, but wading through rivers and ponds made it special and extra challenging, definitely do it again!
