In short: A superb race, well organised and supported with every chance of a PB! In full: I was talked into this one by my boss who said it was a lovely race (he's done it 3 years on the trot). I wasn't disappointed!! It was a freezing day so I was pleasantly surprised by how many people turned out to cheer us on. Lots of the course was downhill and I managed a PB!! In short: One of the Best In full: As an old git my 87th half. Probably one of the best. Parking on an industrial estate hides the fact that after the start the course & scenery are brilliant. First time on the "new" St.Neots Half, back next year legs willing. Very well organised, missed last 2 years as entered too late!! Date of review: November 24, 2006
In short: Two words....Goodie Bag In full: Wow, Fantastic goodie bag best yet. Oh yeh the race, Fantastic loved it even though I ran it with a dodgy stomach it was enjoyable (well first 10 miles anyway). Will certainly do it again next year. Well done to all marshalls and organisers 10/10. Date of review: November 24, 2006
In short: Good race, enter early, to miss disappointment In full: Well organised. Pays to enter very early for this race. I entered in July 06. I know alot of disappointed people who failed to get in. Did this race in 2005, just as good. Great for beginners and seasoned runners. Good support in the villages and at the end. Good goody bag. Almost traffic free roads. Excellent conditions. Date of review: November 22, 2006
In short: great race In full: A very well organised race. Well done on all the hard work that must have gone in to putting this race on. Liked the 1:30 pace group, not seen that before at a local race. The runner leading that group was very encouraging.
In short: Great race, surprisingly picturesque and challenging course, lovely downhill finish for last 3 miles, excellent organisation, especially website, online entries, results service and chip timing into the bargain. All finished off by a fabulous Tshirt Date of review: November 21, 2006
