In short: Undulating 2 lap course - lonely second half !
In full: Distance between some of the mile markers were way out. Drinks could have been a problem if it had been hot.
The 4-30 time limit was tight for a charity event ?

In short: Ouch, but fantastic!
In full: Picked up an injury half way round the full marathon so time wasn't as good as i'd liked, but the run itself was great - really well organised, not too many hills (!), good facilities and a nice t-shirt that i've been wearing with pride ever since.

In short: Very glad to have been running with my Dad on the second lap as we were suddenly very lonely. Scenery was great, hills nothing too onerous. Surprisingly weary by the end of the second lap, not helped by some dehydration, more drinks stations please.

In short: Excellent value for money, well organised race. Can be a little bit lonely on the second lap but tag along with some fellow runners and you'll be fine !

In short: A good race and my first full marathon so was pleased with 3hr34min - last hill nearly killed my running mate though ;-) Was a bit lonely from mile 14 to 18 until we caught a few folk up!

In short: Well organised, marshalled & supported. Pre-race info excellent. Recommend 4 first time half marathon run. Nothing too daunting, with last mile or so mercifully descending to the finish line! Surprised no timing chips. 10/10 to race commentary!

In short: Half-Marathon obviously the main event but good support at the end for the two lappers
In full: Glad it was a cool day as the water stations too few and far between with variable cu sizes. Did have previously and water was better and sports drinls were supplied as well. usual reasonable T-shirt and medal, well organised and marshalled with good support at start and end.Plenty of local interest and good coverage from the commentary box. Second lap however, very lonely and hills always seem worse second time around. Not sure I would rush back for the full, but would happily do the single lap as it is cheekily challenging. More drinks though, please.

In short: Well organised race
In full: Well organised, good instructions pack with race number. Might have been a good idea to have some large CAR PARK for runners signs - lots of cars "lost" outside the venue, having already passed the turn for plentiful car-parking - about 400/500 metres from the start.
Weather was ok/mostly cool - if it had been a hot one then a lot of people would have suffered due to small number of drinks stations.Pity its a 4 and a half hour limit,
if its a finishing time problem - let he marathon start 30 mins or an hour before the half ? after all its a "charity" even ?
