In short: Horrendously hilly - but FUN!
In full: First time running this one, I hear stories from past years of wading through fields, winds so strong they blow you back up the hill and oodles of glorious mud! Definitely will be back -although next year I might book the following day off work so I can slob out.. I mean.. uh.. recover..

In short: Hills, scenery, some mud. Well organised off road race. One of the highlights of the year.
In full: I love this race. There are 3 killer hills, but when you get to the top the views would take your breath away if you had any. Its nearly all off road, and has some splendidly muddy bits.
I enjoy the route so much that I arrange a post xmas run for club members to re-visit the route. fab!
