In short: Lovely scenic run, round lakes and through forests
In full: A long initial climb out of the town but once into the woods, along road and track, it was excellent. A glorious sunny sunday morning, good organisation and friendly people made it a great event.

In short: A very pleasant way to spend a Sunday morning
In full: A small friendly race, well organised, minor roads and narrow forest trails. A bit hilly in places but last 3 miles mostly downhill and fast. Very nice day out.

In short: I nice friendly race for all abilities
In full: The course is mostly on roads, but with very little traffic. The route is well designed so that the second half is easier than the first since it is mostly flat or down hill, which makes it good very PB potential.

The organisation is very good, the support from marshals is excellent and there are mile markers every mile; which makes it one of the best 10 milers I've done.

In short: Tough but fair
In full: Really enjoyed this, like Liz says, there are hills but they're short enough not to worry you. The greasy egg & bacon rolls make a wonderful Sunday lunch after the race.

In short: a great race fairly undulating in the first half but nothing too big
In full: A great run that was well organised over both road and footpaths as this was my first 10 miles i took it easy but wish i had tried a bit harder in the first half as i never did find a really bad hill most of them that were steep were short 50metres at the most will definetly do it again next year
