In short: Amazing, everything I look for in a race
In full: Tough, hilly first half but scenic where at times, even amongst a good number of runners, you can feel on your own and soak it all up

In short: A very enjoyable Sundary trip
In full: More scenic and foresty than I expected and very well organised. The climb to Heaven's Gate was a drawn out bump but, after that, it was flat for much of the route home. Shame the last mile was around the streets of Warminster itself but had to be done to reach the 10 mile trip so not a major complaint.

In short: An excellent scenic run
In full: This is an excellent scenic run, and as it is also my local race (running no more than 200 yrds from my front door) it was a must do race. Not one for the absolute begginer, as there was no one there running at over 11 minute mile pace, but a good way to spend sunday morning if you're up for it.

In short: Fab!
In full: My first 10 miles in just over 3 years and a lovely way to return to this distance.

Very friendly and well organised - will be back next year.

In short: First mile 1.5m bit of a beast, after that good fun. A well organised and well marshalled race.

In short: A well organised and picturesque race
In full: Very well organised and very enjoyable -especially if you take it steady over the first half of the race, as the second half is predominantly downhill.

One minor and curious criticism - Why was so much paper used for this race? My A4 entry form had an additional two pages attached and then the same stuff was mailed out with joining instructions. Perhaps there will be one less tree to run past in the Forest next year:-)

In short: Good atmosphere, good course, good marshalling.
In full: Probably not quite as much forest trail as I would have liked. Seemed a shame to skirt along the edge of the forest on tarmac roads at times, but this did make it fast on the 2nd half. Otherwise, really good race - very well marshalled, brilliant scenery and a medal! (always welcome!)
