In short: A gem of a race
In full: It's a tough one, but the bargain entry fee, superb scenery, excellent marshalling, fantastic support and funky memento make the pain worthwhile! Congratulations to the organising team, and keep the uphill finish!

In short: Excellent race, best trophy ever!
In full: Change of date is disappointing, this may have been contributory to the drop in entrants. The trophy put all other events in the shade! I have entered far more expensive events and only received a really shoddy trophy.

In short: Brilliant!!
In full: I completed this race two years ago and loved it. Would have done it last year but was pregnant and so I have just got back into runnning. This was a great race to see how my training has been going and it was also my sisters first 10k and she loved it. Would highly recommend this race.

In short: Best views and scenary in a race so far. And great trophy at the end too.
In full: I have to say that this run is the hardest but most enjoyable run I have done yet.
The hills just kept coming then about 5k in it went down long enough to catch your breath before coming up another hill.
Its the first race I have been able to sprint the last bit too. Even though that was up a hill.
Everyone there was so nice no shortage of drinks as they were there 3times round, unusual in a 10k so I think they knew how hard it was going to be and made every necessary arangement to make it easy. I know I needed more drink as them hills just made me loose my breath.
The trophy at the end was good too.
Im getting a lot of neck hangers so it was a nice change.

In short: Hard, tough course, but well worth it.
In full: I have always loved the town of Arundel, and to go there to take part in a fringe event of the Arundel Festival was special for me. The organisation was as smooth as silk, that you barely noticed it. There were two drinks stations, one at 2k and one at 5k, very sensible given the unforgiving climb to 5k. Friendly marshals, wonderful crowd support and a good mix of runners of all abilities. Every runner was well received.

The course was very challenging, and really tested your reserves of stamina. Not one for PB hunters, you need a really flat course for that. After the last climb at 7k I really wanted to get a good head of steam for the final descent but didn't have the energy to go really fast as I wanted. So this event, like the Hastings Half Marathon, is a really good fitness test.

There were two major highlights in this race. The first was the wonderful views that rewarded all your hard work during the climbs. Glorious views of the South Downs at 5k and stunning views of the River Arun weaving its way through the park at the top of the hill at 7k. Unforgettable sights. Second, the memento - a beautiful perspex hologram paperweight in presentation box. How generous, and no doubt well earned!

All in all, this has to be one of the very best races in the calendar, in all respects. Next year? Never in doubt.

In short: Great Fun going down the Hills!
In full: steady climb to the top, Super fast descent for 2k, followed by 1k of climb, then downhill again through the Castle, and a short sharp climb to the finish line.

£7 entry, and a great memento!! Bargain!

In short: Ignore the climb. Just enjoy the scenery!
In full: Wonderful event. Very well organised and friendly. The climb was hard but worth the effort to see the view at the top. Nice glass paperweight as a memento. Will definitely be back. Very well done, Organisers
