In short: A well organised 1/2m with some steady climbs but from the turn around point of 8 miles it was a fairly quick return run. The 'T' shirts were great and the goody bag was welcome as it contained food and drink.
In full: The number of runners taking part were in excess of 2000 and I would predict a field of atleast 5000 for next years race.

In short: A hilly course with a lack of mile markers (or at least I only saw from 5 to 10 and 300 metres to go!)

In short: Thumbs up for a Cov's First Effort
In full: Even though I beat my Great North Run time by over 10 mins - I was upset that the race was delayed and I would have liked Energy gels provided as GNR - the last hill hurt but knowing that I was near the finishing line spurred me on and even managed a bit of a sprint. I think this is a start of something new.

In short: What a great morning!
In full: This was my first half. Being so close to home I just couldn't resist it and it didn't disappoint.

The atmosphere was 200% better than the Hydro Active in Hyde Park. This was partly thanks to the wonderful Marshalls were brilliant and the people who live on Radford Road were really supportive as well.

Great race for your debut half.

In full: If you wanted to be a liitle picky you might mention the mile marker boards but for a first time effort it was a very enjoyable event

In short: Fantastic debut race for Coventry!
In full: After a really difficult GNR the previous week, I was a bit dubious about getting a pb in this one, but managed to shave 11 minutes off my best in only my 3rd half marathon! I think the layout of the course helped, with a warm up on the ring road, followed by a trot through town before the uphill slog.
Like the other comments here, I would have to moan about the lack of mile markers. The first one I saw was a small painted number 3 on the road surface and I only saw about three proper markers for the rest of the race.
The T-shirt was a nice touch, not the usual flimsy white ones, but I struggled to eat the malt loaf in the goodie bag without needing extra water to wash it down!
I will definitely be doing it again, well done to the organisers.
