In short: Good challenging course, but nothing special In full: The race is well organized, with plenty of marshals and some good crowd support. The course is challenging without any killer hills, but it has too many twists and turns for a flowing run. I didn't hate it, but it didn't leave me wanting it on next year's schedule either. In short: Wonderfully organised, hundreds of enthusiastic marshalls, can't think of anything to criticise. In full: Very well organised race with hundreds of marshalls, and plenty of water and energy drinks. Good value for money with plenty of water and bananas at the end. A few hills but not too horrifying. The marshalls and public were very supportive and cheering all the way round. Runners were friendly too. Date of review: October 30, 2009

In short: Brilliant In full: Third time for me and a PB that's stood for 3 years was broken- how that happened on a hilly course is beyond me, but shows that Coventry can inspire you. Great organisation, good marshals & water. Love starting and finishing in the centre of town. Hope the move to May in 2010 works, well I guess I'll find out, as I just have to run it again. The only things the organisers could have done better was reduce the strength of wind in some areas !, but I guess that's something they'll save for another year. Nice one Coventry Date of review: October 30, 2009

In short: Super fantastic event In full: we really enjoyed the event
Everyone concerned was fantastic 13 miles, enough to build stamina and keep the mind ticking over, undualting in places but not severe, oK, it's not flat, but trust me, compared to some HM's - It's flat ish
we cruised to a happy 2:08, after last weekned FM, in which i coached a new runner friend around in 5:15
so were onto Stevenge HM this weekend our 200th HM together
Thanks to all involved Date of review: October 27, 2009

In short: Organisation gets better each year as I get slower! In full: This is the fourth Coventry Half I have run and it continues to improve each year. Coming from Essex (no hills!), I forget about the hills each year and found it raellly tough this year. Marshalls are excellent, crowd support is good, especially at the finish. If it gets any bigger, some parts of the course will become too crowded.
I'll be back in May, one month after the London Marathon - anyone fancy jogging round? Date of review: October 27, 2009
