In short: I loved this race. Fantastic scenery, well organised except for slow queue for soup with wet feet, friendly stewards and lots of them. Thank you Brackla Harriers

In short: As always, great race - best of the year for me
In full: Merthyr Mawr never fails to please. For me it's without a doubt the best race of the whole year, for atmosphere alone, and that's before we start on the sand dunes, which seemed bigger and more daunting than ever this year! The weather was brilliant - a beautiful day, lovely scenery (if you exclude the unforto#unate sewage works - but I guess they hav to go somewhere!) and the organisation seemed to benefit this year by the sponsorship of Run and Become. The parking was a bit messed up, meaning that those of us who made the effort to turn up early to get into the main (nearer) car park were in fact sent to the alternative one, with many latecomers being given better parking, which was really unfair. Don't do that again please. We were really pleased with the T shirt - purchased at £9, and with the names of all those who pre-entered printed on the back. A very nice T shirt, and many other race organisers should take note that many of us prefer a really good T shirt that we have to buy to a poor quality one that you get whether you want it or not.

In short: First time and lived up to expectations
In full: What a great way to end the year! Thank you Brackla Harriers - great organisation, fab marshalls and excellent goodies - tea towel a lovely touch and soup most welcome after the rather chilly water! A must do event - will be back next year for another go at that dune.........!

In short: The high spot of my running year again (and again and again and again.......)
In full: Brackla Harriers organised perfect weather for the perfect race. My fifth year and it keeps on getting better. The only race I know that goes through a sewage farm - a truly all terrain event!

In short: A very enjoyable alternative to the usual road race. A tough start short of breath just looking at the Sand dune. Many thank to all involved in making a good race. THANKS......
