In short: A great race, extremly difficult but "fun" and friendly.
In full: This was my very first race and what a way to start - with a run up Europe’s biggest sand dune, I thought it would be ok after that but it gets harder with a 1 mile run up the side of a mountain (maybe some would call it a hill but it was definatly a mountain to me!).

I was apprehensive going in as it was my first race as I mentioned earlier, I knew it was going to be a tough run but more so because I don't look like a runner so I figured I'd be looked down on by the more serious runners but it couldn't have been further from the truth, the organisers and other runners were extremely supportive and friendly.

This isn’t a race for the feint hearted and probably not the best for newbie’s to get started on but if I could do it then there is no reason why anyone else couldn’t but if you do follow my footsteps then please please please, do plenty of practice on hill running.

In short: Lots of Hills in the first Half, And first 600m come to that.
In full: Why run up the Big Dipper Sand Dune when you can hide in the bushes at the top ? This is what plenty of saddos seem to have done this year. Other than this disgraceful behaviour the race is a classic.
