In short: Well organised, interesting scenery, fantastic commentary, really enjoyable
In full: A half marathon with ever changing scenery to keep your mind of the distance. Starts on the sea front, up, a long the top of the cliffs, out in to the country, back through a housing estate and then along the prom again.
Really well marshalled.

In short: fantastic scenery
In full: despite getting a personal worst big time, this was a lovely race, lack of training was to blame rather than the race. some of the residents didnt seem to notice the 400 odd runners and continued hoovering cars/cutting grass with the flexes across the path but not much the organisers could do about that, the commentators cheering you on by name at the halfway mark was a great touch, actually made me smile for the official photographer for a change!

In short: Great Race!
In full: This Half Marathon's got a bit of everything! There's the very flat start and finish along the seafront, and the nasty little hill straight after, then there's the excellent rural setting followed by the well supported urban section, there's real PB potential too as the last 3 miles of the course are mainly flat or downhill. The only 2 grumbles I can come up with are the spectators getting in the way at the finish and the price of entry on the day, but I ran a massive PB so those things are long forgotten now!

In short: Dodging people on the prom bit annoying, but otherwise great. My first half marathon and really enjoyed it.

In short: One of my most favourite races.
In full: This race is one of my favourites, I wouldnt miss it for anything. Was good to see the winds died down just in time for the race, and it was not too warm either. Usual perfect race officiating by all involved too. I shall certainly be back yet again next year hoping to beat the PB that I got yesterday. SS

In short: Fantastic race with lovely touches!!
In full: A race that I find gets better every year! Well organised with a nice start and finish on the sea front. The commentators were very comical and at times it was tempting to stay and listen to their free stand up show! A fantastic memento (one of the best i've had at race! THANKYOU!!) in a great goody bag with snacks and drinks. Once again thank you to everyone involved including the very supportive marshalls. An excellent race for runners participating in their first half. See you again next year!!
