In short: Good first time Half Marathon
In full: Never sure about going round more than once but this was fun. Scenic, undulating, friendly and the last mile or two is down hill which is good for first timers..

In short: Awesome race
In full: Boy I enjoyed this race. The course is a double loop down the coast for a couple of miles and looping up into the rural areas behind felixstowe before heading back into town and finishing on the sea front.

The weather was near ideal which made the views out to see awesome, the course was quite flat with a minor 1km hill at about 5 and 16km and the crowds along the prom for the start/end of lap1/finish were noisy and enthusiastic.

The double act providing commentary was great, and the proximity to the town centre meant for some good post match grub and beers.

The one downside was the narrow promenade for the start finish which was made even narrower with the encroaching cheering crowds which made my sprint finish a little tricky. Apart from that a perfect day - Thanks guys!

In short: Friendly race with great atmosphere and sea views
In full: Great race. Marshalls, racers and spectators really friendly and encouraging. Very busy home run along the promenade which adds to the atmosphere at the finish. Weather and sea views perfect. Will definitely be back next year.
