In short: A really good first 10k race challenge. In full: With some slightly challenging undulations for people who may be relatively new to running, you'll need to do some practise runs. Nice winding track, and a really good atmosphere with people of all ages and abilities. Mutley wouldn't like it as ya don't get a medal. Not many spectators (sometimes a good thing, especially when you're gasping and dribbling). Parking was plentiful and really easy and close to the start. Llanelli Leisure Centre is closed on Sunday, it seemed (for a shower). Lots of loo's for the jittery. I loved it, and it was worth driving from Cardiff. Date of review: July 10, 2008
In short: More than fantastic In full: Marvelous, brilliant, wonderful, great, tremendous, superb, splendid, incredible, excellent, fabulous, remarkable, terrific, spot-on, just what the doctor ordered, well above the rest, a top race and event and a PB for me.
Well done to the organisers keep up the good work Date of review: June 24, 2008
In short: Great views but very exposed and windy!! In full: The route was an out and back but the scenery looked different each way. Good tarmac path, gentle slopes, two water stations and plenty of loos! Very windy as the route is along very exposed estuary paths. Well worth a try! Date of review: June 23, 2008
In short: Windy but great. In full: Good organisation and excellent atmosphere. Bit windy but what you lost going out definitley gained coming back around. Only downside was the lack of L and XL t-shirts. Date of review: June 23, 2008
