In short: hilly and challenging but one not to miss
In full: going abck for my 3rd year this year and wouldnt miss it for all the tea in china! Great atmosphere, great goody bag, medal and t shirt. Very hilly on the first half which is a shock to the system, but 2nd half down hill which is a relief. Plenty of drinks stations and marshalls and overall well organised. Love this race, and as I have to travel form Swindon every year, I think that speaks for itself!

In short: Quite a few long but gentle hills
In full: Luckily I saved my self for the second half. Lots of water and sponges were very welcome when the sun shone.

In short: Aside from ropey start a fantastic day!
In full: No idea what was going on at start, I thought I was queuing for the toilets, 13.1 miles later I found them.
However the marshals and drinks stations were superb, great encouragement and fantastic atmosphere. First half was hilly, second downhill...Kirkstall Road bit of a nightmare, up the kerbs down the kerbs...just had to be bold with the cars and make them wait for you.( I wasnt stopping at all costs....)
Had a great day out. Great support from the people of Leeds. thank you.

In short: good hilly race, very poor start but great water stops
In full: complete chaos at the start. i must have approached millenium sq from the wrong angle (?!?) as i ended up in the first few lines of runnners at the start

there were lots of novice / average runners very near the front

however, a good undulating race with great water stops - the water bottles were a real bonus - easier to drink from

will most lkikely do again next year as it is my local

In short: Rubbish start, great finish.
In full: "Oh... has it started? No, it can't of...ah, maybe it has." SORT IT OUT, organisers! Some announcements and a starting pistol would have helped. Not starting the race down a back-alley might improve matters, too. (Rant over).

Worth doing the Millennium Square finish alone.
