In short: Quite a challenging course over the first 3 miles with a deceptive climb near the finish. However, pleasant scenery makes up for it.

In short: Excellent, Hill for the first 2 miles and then a long downhill to a lovely finish in the park estate !!
In full: This course is a very good for a non - runner and experianced runners alike. It is organised very well and runs very smoothly. Challenging start to the race with the uphill section. That said the next part is very easy with a long downhill section and flat finish. There is one small hill left as you enter the park estate. This a very good race with some great scenary. This race is a credit to its organisers and sponsors alike !!!!!!

In short: Brilliant
In full: Brilliant race. Great weather and the scenery is stunning. I really enjoyed this and would mark it down to do again. My only critism is that near the end people who had already finished were getting in the way of people still running...which I found a bit rude.

In short: Good fun
In full: Beautifully crisp Winter morning. Interestingly large proportion of non-club runners in the field. Certainly the field couldn't have been any larger for the first 3 miles without closing the roads and, in an ideal world, the Farnham Road could have been closed for the small window required to get the field through. But wonderfully downhil for the last 5 miles with a nice finish through Compton and into Loseley. Would be nice if the the precise race length was confirmed as the final 'mile' was a significant effort. Couldn't believe that there was no ice cream after the finish line. Thought that would be a given!

In short: Could be Better...
In full: I really enjoyed this and did a much better time than I predicted. I must have been trying too hard as I didn't notice the view at the top or see Loseley House. The small hill about a mile from home hurt most. Potentially could be an even better race. The traffic isn't the main problem, although it would be good if the Farnham Road could be avoided. Main criticism is the inconsiderate people getting in the way of the later finishers. I tried to keep to the side as I walked back but saw groups walking four abreast, dog-leads stretched across the route. Perhaps the organisers could mark out an alternative route back. I would also suggest that people should be discouraged from parking at the finish.

In short: I love this race!
In full: My third time. I think the race is another classic. The first mile marker is 'always' early, but I think that they do that to bring runners up a bit short, and make them think to themselves, 'by eck, I must be going too fast, must slow down a bit, save some for the hill.'
Very smooth organisation. Strongly reccomended. (I can't understand why it doesn't get a higher rating).

In short: Great fun - good crown running with, fabulous scenery and did best time ever for just over 8 miles (1 hour 3 minutes).
