In short: I managed to pull a muscle in my back just before the start - but like the fool I am did it anyway! Average race that just lacks a certain something.

In short: Very smiley enthusiatic marshalls made this race very pleasant despite the freezing cold and strong winds.

In short: Enjoyable
In full: I was impressed with the effort of all the marshalls who stood against the freezing wind to keep us on track. Good fast course, good challenge.

In short: Fairly flat but a bit too much road/pavement for me

In short: My first race and I loved it. But I couldn't hear anything that was being said over the loudspeaker at the start and just followed the herd when it started to migrate away from the start line. Still great marshalls. Defo do it next year.

In short: The thing that stood out for me as a "first timer" was the encouragement of the Marshalls. I think everyone of them said something positive as I made my way past, which meant alot. Thanks, it's motivated me to enter another one!

In short: Cold but cool
In full: Marshalling was brilliant. Improved on previous best by 3 minutes, barely missing out on breaking 40m. Nice flat course, well organised - enjoyed it
