In short: Always an enjoyable one
In full: Smiley marshalls as ever - thank you, in spite of the sleet just before the start. New HQ facility is great - staying warm until the start and going straight back into the warm at the finish made the race almost painless!

In short: Nice run - great organisation
In full: Nice run in the relative countryside for Londoners! Very well organised and big thank you to all volunteers who made the race very enjoyable. Quite a nice course to run with only the odd small hill

In short: Excellent organisation, like clockwork
In full: Being fairly new to races how much am I allowed to ignore race results and follow my Garmin time? This race had chip timing but only at the finish and it took me 26 seconds to cross the start - vital in deciding whether its an under the hour 10k PB or not?!
Will have to follow my heart on that one!

Thanks for friendly marshalls, smooth baggage drop and NO ques for ladies loos - all in all a perfect set of firsts!

In short: Where was the chip timing at the start??
In full: Really lacked chip timing at the start.. A bit hilly but overall a pleasant course. Marshalls, organisation and indoor waiting venue were excellent.

In short: Tidy race with excellent organisation and goodie bag
In full: A quality local race with a local feel. Although i found the roadworks at the world of adventures a little problematic this was nothing compared to my lack of training! Overall this is a great local race with superb organisation, especially the finsh which funnels you straight into the warmth, the t-shirt is a good quality one as opposed to one you wouldn't wash your car with and marshalling great on a pretty cold day. Thanks to 26.2. Stuart Hambling

In short: One of the nicest events around
In full: I have come back to this event for the third year simply because it is one of the best organised, but friendly, events out there. The course is fast, but with a couple of little climbs and variation. There is a warm HQ with plenty of facilities. There is easy parking. And, on the course, the volunteers from the club keep the traffic at bay, but give huge encouragement.

In short: Good course, well organised, good atmos
In full: First time running this event and came away with a PB. Quite surprising really considering the hilly nature of the course. A very well organised event and very friendly. Loads of marshalls doing a great job - well done! Facilities spot on - a warm area much needed before the off. T-shirt was a nice touch (red with great words of wisdom on the back!). All in all, a very good morning's work.
