In short: 99.9% Personal Best guaranteed
In full: P.B. Almost guaranteed, good atmosphere and humor, especially from the starter. Too busy concentrating on the race to notice the scenery. Could of done with a water station, but not essential.

In short: Excellent again
In full: Bourton does it again. The place, the people & the atmosphere were all fantastic. I commented last year that the finish line was not very clear - no worries this year, so thankyou. And I smashed last year's time!

In short: Flat, fast and scenic - a perfect Sunday morning....
In full: Well organised race in a lovely little town. The loops at the start and the end were a bit different, especially having to run past the finish line with another lap to go!
Overall it was well organised with good support from the marshalls. Only disappointment is the wait for the results to be posted on line to confirm my new PB....

In short: The best 10k road race on the circuit ?
In full: A great race - Bourton RC should be very proud, and the locals thanked for putting on such a superb day. No wonder its so popular and attracts 'the elite'. Book early for 2009

The two interesting and well supported ~1k laps at the start and finish make for an exciting, fast race - even for those of us in the middle of the pack ; nowhere to hide etc ! Not getting too carried away, and pacing yourself for the more straight forward (literally..) middle part of the race consequently especialy impt at Bourton. Be prepared for a very fast start with lots of heel clipping..

The bends, twists and turns do provide some opportunity for corner cutting though. 6.14m according to my Garmin (others made it >6.2) - there again, desperate to get a PB and dip under 40m for the first time, i did run in the kerbs !

In short: Very quick and well organised
In full: Good quick course, friendly atmosphere.
Only minor gripes would be a lack of a water station on route, and the last lap towards the finish was soul destroying.
well done to the organisers - will be back

In short: Super fast course, confirmed by all the PB's!
In full: Like so many others, I managed to knock 2 mins off what I thought was a respectable PB!!
Weather was ideal also, marshalls on the whole friendly and cheerful, and great to get so much local support in the town.

In short: A great fast race
In full: A great race and I got a PB by nearly 2 minutes. Good atmosphere and scenic route. Seeing the lead runners coming back towards you can be a little daunting but also uplifting - but at least Dan Robinson is a club mate!

In short: Great race
In full: Marshals were mostly very friendly and supportive to this back marker but would echo the earlier comment about some disinterest shown by younger marshals.
It's a little disconcerting to have such good runners come flying past you but it's also nice to have the opportunity to see them come back into town.
I know it's flat really but didn't it feel uphill out and back??
