In short: 2 PBs in 2 years. Very friendly, and all classes of runners attend
In full: A good one lap course. Stroud may be the centre of 5 valleys, but the route cleverly goes the other way towards the Severn Valley.
1000 entrants mean that you are never alone, but not jostled either. All standards run, and excellent support, especially towards the end.

In short: Not as flat as people think a good PB course However,due to the volume of good club runners who make this race very competetive and fast
