In short: was waiting for Noah's Ark to pass me...
In full: despite the terrible summer weather and my cvomplete lack of training it was a great event. probably one of my worst 10K's time wise in the past 3-4 years but that might have something to do with getting that wee bit older andf not training for the past 4 months! organisation was just as good as the marathon in March this year. roll on next year...

In short: Considering the drowning everyone got from the weather the atmosphere was very good well marshalled with encouragement all the way and a great Tshirt one for the collection and to think I smashed my PB welldone Steve and Dumfries Border Harriers
In full: A good race from a small and friendly local club

In short: Pouring rain, cold showers - not a good mix. Marshals were to be commended though. Good organisation.
In full: After running 6 miles in acomplete downpour I was not impressed by the freezing cold showers we were faced with at the finish. Weather can't be helped but I was frozen waiting for the prize-giving as a result.
Marshals did a great job standing out in all that rain - well done.
