In short: Thank You to all that helped
In full: Great first half marathon, Thanks to everyone who asked after my wellfare when they passed me after 10 miles. I was sufforing with tendonitis and got over the finish line in what must have looked like a painful hobble. I could only have done this with the support of the runners and crowd. Fantastic race would recommend to everyone..

In short: Lovely run, great PB potential, excellently organised.
In full: Congratulations to the organisers of this event, it was excellently organised, and there were many supportive and vocal marshals that managed the route extremely well. The course is exceptionally flat so it has great PB potential, and overall it was a nice scenic route. Furthermore, the goody bag was good, especially as this was NOT a particularly expensive run. On the whole a highly recommended run, so thanks to the organisers for a good, well priced event.

In short: Nice one Knavesmire.
In full: Fautless organisation, top course, excellent goody bags. Just need some sort of anti-wind tunnel near the finish, as it was like running into a brick wall. Must have amused the spectators to see people trying a sprint finish (ie me) and going nowhere.

In short: Fast, Well Organised, Great Half marathon!
In full: PB by 8mins 27seconds for me despite being ill for the 4 weeks before the race!!! Yes, I know I shouldn't have run! But I could not miss this race as so many people I run with had told me it was a great one and they were right!

Had the feel of a "real event" and everyone clearly enjoyed themselves. I will be one of the runners recommending this to my running mates for 2009!

I'd also like to thank the young lady who offered me a jelly baby at halfway when I was struggling slightly (blasted flu!).... I think it shows what a good atmosphere had been generated at the race.
