In short: Yes it undulates! Some great views. Nr Salisbury went through v. sticky muddy bean-field. Some bottle-necks in narrow sections

In short: Once again, great race
In full: Okay, I said it last year but it all bears repeating - what a fabulous event! Okay, there will be a few mile counters droning on that the 9 and 10 mile markers were only a few yards apart. Yep, there will be some moaning that the bag and tee-shirt collection was a bit chaotic. Well I came to watch the scenery, not the markers, and having to wait all of 5 mins after the race for a super tee shirt is hardly much after running for 4 hours! I just soaked up the vibes! See you all again next year - great event!

In short: Better than I remembered it from last year. No muddy fields to cross!
In full: superb run, again, and even though I had 'senior moments', or even total lack of recall of all those upward climbs, I would still do it again next year. a definite must, in my calendar.

In short: Tough course gives huge sense of achievement!
In full: Why would anyone want to plod round Macadamed city streets when there is this? Fantastic countryside, sterling organisation and friendly atmosphere. Does running get better than this?

In short: fantastic race, if (a big one) I were to do another marathon it would be this one
In full: fantastic, well marked trail route - hardly any tarmac & mile markers the whole way - essential for counting down !!
