In short: Lovely country laned route, friendly and supportive marshalls
In full: Great race - must be cos I PB'd :-)

Route is along lovely country lanes and the marshalling was very very positive. Great cakes available, and lots of hot water in the showers and lots of room in the changing rooms too (in the school). Perfect IMO.

In short: Good organisation as usual from PVRC
In full: Nice undulating course through country lanes.

I understand the oraganisers wanting to maximise the takings for the charity but don't think the starting line is the place to tell runners that they will not be getting a momento (especially as it was advertised that there was one)

In short: great course, well marshalled, perfect weather for running
In full: really enjoyed this race. It was a shame the turn out was low. I feel sure the lack of some sort of momento puts some runners off. They could always give people the choice of paying £1 extra on entry if they want a medal. Personally I like a mug at least they are useful.

In short: Great 10k Course. Well organised
In full: Really good course with great marshals all the way round! Was a bit miffed at no medal or t shirt after it had been advertised, but, as all money raised was for charity I suppose I can go without on this occasion! lol

In short: Very well organised race, spoilt only by a low turnout
In full: Comments much the same as last year. Very well organised, scenic race with lovely cakes. Well done PVRC.

Didn't have my best ever run but was 4 minutes faster than last year so that is something to smile about.

Disappointed that the turnout was so low but that is someone else's loss really.

In short: challenging route with some up and down hills but not steep
In full: it said a t-shirt and medal for finishers but what do expect for £6-7 entry, one of the cheapest 10k races in the area, well organised, very nice cakes. enjoyed the route and could of gone quicker but unsure where the hills were so took it steady and was 30secs slower than PB so i am happy! the rain stayed away till the end so that was good!

In short: Very disappointed not to get a medal or a t-shirt when they advertised the race as having both!
In full: I don’t feel it was very fair that the race was advertised as having a medal and t-shirt for all finishers and then the organisers announce at the start runners won’t be getting anything. I could tell I wasn’t the only one was very disappointed and I certainly won’t be running again next year. Shame really as the actual course is excellent and the race well organised and very friendly.
