In short: Reasonably flat course, good size but not too large a field. A real bonus having Kilometre and mile markers - other organisers please take not.

In short: Nice race
In full: A well organised race. There were no problems at the start, the course was well marshalled. It's quite a quick course, although the incline from 8km to the finish was a little tough. I ran a new PB so I’m not going to complain too much.

In short: A lovely run through country lanes
In full: There are no major surprises in this race. Apart from a short fairly steep dip and hill near the beginning the majority of the race is relatively flat and there are some nice straight stretches to get into your zone and pick up the pace. The 10K takes you through country roads - which while not traffic free are quite enough at 11AM on a Sunday morning and if you stick to the left of the road as advised by the marshals you won't have any problems.
My only niggle was that the start line wasn't very clear and infact all of the runners were advised to move back prior to the start as they had gone past it.
I didn't use any of the changing/shower facilities so I can't comment on these.
On the whole this was an excellent morning with weather to match.
