In short: Superb: friendly & well organised
In full: I chose to enter this race because of all the positive comments about previous years' races - from what I saw, all of these are 100% justified and the race was a joy to take part in. I will defnitely be back next year, if I enter early enough to get a place!

In short: Another fantastically organised race living up to the usual standard set by Brian Porter and the Wesham community.
In full: I thought this race was excellent in both organisation and course and is a must for all runners both novice and experience. What i like about Brians races is the little extra touches he puts on like massages and goody bags it sets the good from the great. I can certainly see why this race gets full every year. Well done from all the Astley & Tyldesley Road Runners.

In short: Up to the usual high standards of the Wesham events
In full: Not having run this particular course before, I took it very easy in the early stages and really ought to have put more effort in but, with the recent (lack of) training, felt I ought to not go off like a hare! The course was good with gentle gradients (both up and down) and a good atmosphere overall. Loads of marshals and signs so you knew exactly where you were even if the twists and turns towards the end seemd to go on forever (but then they do in every race, in my experience). Always worth turning out for this event if you have the chance - it's a good one to go for a pb on, or at least as good as they get in this area. Can't get a lot flatter without getting dull! Nowhere to get a cup of tea though!

In short: Well run again.
In full: Organised well again. I could have done a PB with a little more effort (sounds like a school report)
