In short: a bit of a chilly day but made up with us having to run round BNFL! Prior to the race people were saying it was possible for a PB on this course, i think they were taking the mickey although the hills werent killers it felt like you was constantly
In full: going up hill. Other than that it was an excellent race, and would recomend to any one to do it.

In short: Not as good as I remember from last year....just better !!
In full: I think from the other comments, you'd have to be a very demanding runner not to enjoy this race. The organisation was flawless, the marshalls could get on my Christmas card list, they were excellent and encouraging, and the scenery as nice as any of the trail type runs I've done this year. Well done to Wesham RR for a superb race, this is one of those runs you come back to for as long as you've got a stride in your legs !!

In short: Superb first time race
In full: An excellent easy to run race. Although there are a few ups & downs, they are not too excessive, which for a first timer shouldn't be too hard. Great atmosphere, brilliant weather, you couldn't ask for more. A must do race.

In short:
In full: It was a beautiful race but who decided this was flat?! What warrants a undluating rating? It was challenging for a supposedly flat course although very beautiful. Very well organised and the marshalls were very professional, especially when it came to managing the traffic. I would definitely do it again but would not try for a PB as I just don't think its a possible on a course like this

In short: 6 yers since I last raced a 10K. The best local race for me
In full: It is one of my all time favourite so far as i have only done a few short races. Preparing for a marathon next year.Ecellent race to keep me focused. Thanks Russ Corsini, you don't know me but I was on your tail to about the 6.5 K mark then you started to pull away a bit. I'll be back as they say.
