In short: So much better than battling round industrial estates or council estates being shouted at by irate drivers. Lovely countryside and kind on my knees.

In short: Beautiful but challenging course - such a relief to be away from the roads on the trails in the forest. Not exactly PB material but do it anyway - you won't be disappointed! Slick organisation. Excellent facilities at start/finish.

In short: Lots of trees in case you need to stop for a pee... Excellent organisation and a clever, civilization free, course - enjoy and relish.

In short: Loved it! What a great and beautiful race. This is why I run.
In full: Great sceanery, great marshals. Good support. An unpretentious race a pleasure from start to finish. Even the ice cold Ribena at the end was just perfect! Thank you.

In short: Tricky getting the pacing right with all the uphill at the beginning and downhill at the end
In full: Hats off to the lone marshall who continually had to shout at people to keep off the track at the finish - a thankless job - with runners, relatives, dog walkers (well they own the track don't they) and cyclists clogging the final 200m. Chuffed to get a T-shirt
