In full: a very good day out,real value for money,soup and cake at the end, also free hot showers and a very good venue, as usual with toonie express, very friendly crowd. The route was not as bad as i was expecting but quite challenging, my first trail half, really enjoyed it, found it tiring but thats because i usually run on roads, so it made a nice change,

In short: A Great Way to Spend a Sunday
In full: Great race, well organised, no chance of getting lost, fantastic scenery, and "challenging"! Not sure if any of the inclines reciprocated in a downward stretch- it felt uphill all the way but most definitely would do it again.

In short: Lovely views and nice to be off the road.
In full: Well organised with a briefing at the start. Course well marked, lovely food and marshalls at water stations. A most welcome feast at the end. Enjoyed it and wasn't as muddy as I feared ! Very challenging route.

In short: Great race, very well marshalled and sign posted on route. No chance of getting lost, even though the majority of the route on foot paths, bridleways and fields. My first trail race, and painful but exhilarating!
