In short: good varied course - expected it to be harder
In full: Run laps were easier than expected, having run the Grim Challenge before. Varied terrain with soft sandy spots to slow you down on the bike and water to wade through carrying the bike. This was my first duathlon and very enjoyable.

In short: Excellent race
In full: really enjoyed this race, it is on the army vehicle training course so it is muddy, wet and challenging in places. Starting with the 5km run, trying to keep your shoes dry turns into quite a hard slog on the bike for 2 x 10km loops with an evil, cold and long water course that you have to wade through. Then back on the run for the last 5km. Really enjoyed the day, excellently organised
