In short: Great fun
In full: Really enjoyed this race again.
You have to get there early to avoid parking problems.
Too muddy in some places - had to walk.
More toilets needed.

In short: Muddy !!!
In full: This was probably not the best ace for my first 10k! After A month of awful weather I really struggled in the mud.. But loved the trail bits and can see it would be gorgeous if not like a swamp.. Will definitely try again though

In short: Mud glorious mud
In full: There was a small problem with the signage as they didn't alter it once the 1st car park was full so people were having to turn around to go back to the main car park. Just a minor problem really...

It was well organised and the 'race village' was good. It's most definitely family friendly. Marshalls were good but their wasn't much crowd support en route.

Some of the hills were extra challenging this year due to the mud caused by 3 weeks of rubbish weather.

I enjoyed it an may do it next year - it's a bit of a hike from Brighton though...

In short: Great race thanks!
In full: Thoroughly enjoyed this race, well organised and the staggered start made things much easier for the slower amongst us :)

The marshalls were brilliant - very encouraging and vocal, which helps so much.

Not sure about the mud though!

The only 2 things I was a bit disappointed with was the stunningly small sized 'medium' tshirt (I shall get large next year!) and mens shave gel in the goody bag. Using it myself though!

Will certainly be back, thanks to everyone.

In short: Well organised and enjoyable, a good wide trail most of the way, nice goody bag. Negatives were parking (the traffic queues to get in almost made me miss my start) and the annoying form we had to sign before registering.

In full: Varry friendly, Nice course and well marshalled. However, parking was a nightmare took me 40 minutes to queue and park and missed my start time.

In short: Mucking about in the forest...fast, fun and friendly
In full: The trailblazer is a great event that's very well managed. The trail is wide and the wave format makes bottleknecks a thing of the past. Don't expect a 10k PB due to some long but fairly gentle hills but do count on enjoying the peace and tranquillity of a fully fledged race. I've entered over 30 'races' in the past year (5k to marathon) yet this was the first time I've ever felt like I was battling for position. Dodging the softer footing removed any chance of monotony and made this a mental challenge along with the physical. More photographers next time?
